- Greyhound - from Downtown Reno (155 Stevenson St)
  Reno to Truckee $12.50 5:30 am., 9:30 am and 3:30 pm (2006 schedule. check for current)
  You can take a RTC (Regional Transportation Commission) Bus from the airport to 
  downtown (4th and Center - 7 blocks from Greyhound)  for $3.25
  but there are only 3 buses/day

    Cars only $53/hr. 2 hrs. to Truckee, 3 hrs to Tahoe City

Mass Transit from Sacramento
The bus service associated with Amtrak (Capitol Corridor) will not allow you to take their bus without a train portion, so you would have to go to Davis and take the train to Sacramento then Bus to Truckee. ???
