Page Meadows:
Take Pine Ave. 1.7 mi. south of Tahoe City on Hwy. 89. Rt at Tahoe Park Heights Rd.. At the crest of the hill, you will come to an intersection where youtake the middle fork. The road turns into Big Pine Rd. Left on Silver Tip. Parking area is at the top of the road.

Blackwood Canyon:
Follow Blackwood Creek into picturesque Blackwood Canyon on gentle terrain. Head toward Barker Pass on the Pacific Crest Trail (about 7 mi. from Hwy 89) for longer outing. Barker Pass at 7,780' is about 1,500' above Hwy 89 at 6,250'.

Directions:
Take Blackwood Canyon Rd. 4.1 mi. on Hwy 89 South of Tahoe City (0.4 mi. N. of Eagle Rock). Blackwood Canyon road is across from the Kaspian Picnic area.
