The printer is configured for wireless printing on the mcbridecabin network, not mcbridecabin-5G (I think), so you'll have to connect your computer to mcbridecabin.
It worked with the USB cable on my 1 year old MacBook with the M1 chip and OS 12 (Monterey) You can get the OS version and Processor/chip by clicking on "About this Mac" under the apple menu.
It did not work on Bill's 3 year old MacBook with an Intel processer and the same OS (Monterey)
If you clicked + in Printers & Scanners in System Preferences (under the apple menu), which will normally get the drivers, it says to go to canon for the drivers.
Bill got it to work by downloading a driver from canon. He went to: usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/support/details/printers/inkjet-multifunction/mg-series-inkjet/mg3520/pixma-mg3520?tab=drivers_downloads
It supports AirPrint from apple devices, but I had trouble getting this to work. AirPrint does not require the drivers. I'll update this if I can get it to work.
You can get the OS version by clicking on "About this Mac" under the apple menu.
It did not have a driver for Monterey (OS 12), but he downloaded the driver for mac OS11 (Big Sur) and it worked)
