The spray arms, filter, and tub require regular maintenance to perform optimally. Leave adequate space between each item: This means placing one dish per slot and alternating forks and spoons next to each other to avoid nesting. Make sure bowls don’t overlap each other to improve water and detergent access.

Bosch Says "No need to pre-rinse dishes before loading. Just make sure the food is scraped off the dishware.
If the light on the floor is blinking it may be door is not shut tightly. Open turn off then on and START. HomeService.com says you need a little dirt to help cleaning

Hard water could be a problem.
The amount of rinse aid dispensed
can be set from r:00 to r:06 (r:04 or 05 recommended).

You should only change the setting if
streaks remain on the dishes (lower
the amount), or if dishes are not
getting dry enough (increase the amount)

Do not fill the rinse aid dispenser with detergent. Doing so will damage the dishwasher.
