* Liberty Island Ecological Reserve is flooded most of the year.
It is called Prospect Island or Prospect Slough on some maps. South end of Liberty Island, April 2025 when Putah Creek was about 1.5 ft higher than normal.
Liberty Island includes the area on both sides of the small island below.

The whole flooded area is Liberty Island.

Flooding:
Many islands in the Delta are below sea level, relying on levees for protection against flooding and tidal inundation. Most of them are farmland
There are many factors contributing to relative sea level rise (RSLR), Westerly Winds, Spring Tides, land subsidence due to compaction of organic soils (Peat), drainage from irrigation, .
Today, the Delta is largely devoted to agriculture, and includes about 55 islands or tracts that are imperfectly protected from flooding by over 1,000 miles of levees.
