The Wet Woody was created at Garwoods Grill & Pier, established in 1988 at Carnelian Bay. It claims to be world famous.
Garwoods is named for the Gar Wood boats, named after Garfield Wood. It is probably the 2nd most popular classic wooden boat behind the Chris Craft at Tahoe.
