Features:

• Keep your key - Fits onto your existing deadbolt so you can keep the keys you already have.
  There is a thumb turn knob to lock and unlock from the inside.
  
• Keypad access - Ender a 4-digit code to open from a keypad.
  
• Simple Sharing - Easily grant or revoke access to your home for others through the Wyze app.
  Or provide additional temporary access codes for others.
  
• Automatic Unlock - Wyze Lock knows when you arrive home and automatically unlocks as you approach the door.
• Auto-lock - Wyze Lock detects when your door is closed and automatically locks after a specified period of time.
• Remote access - Unlock or lock your door from anywhere in the world at the tap of a button in the Wyze app.
• Door position detection - Wyze Lock will notify you if your door is left open and won't auto-lock on an open door.
• View lock history - Wyze Lock tells you when the door is open, who unlocked it, and how the door was unlocked.
• Voice controlled - Works with Alexa. Wyze Lock can be controlled hands-free. (Google Assistant support coming soon)

1. Key - Thumb turn knob (inside):
   The old way with a key to lock/unlock from the outside
   And a thumb turn knob to lock/unlock from the inside.
   
2. Guest access code:
   Unlock with a temporary 4 digit code on the keypad followed by the unlock button from the outside.
   Lock with the lock button on the keypad from the outside
   Or, when you close the door it will automatically lock after a specified time (30 minutes a/o July 2021)
   
   
3. Wyze app
   Family can use the Wyze app which requires an account at wyze.com
   You can use the keypad with your 4-digit code or configure the app to open the door when you arrive.
   Locking: The door will automatically lock after a specified time or you can use the lock button on the keypad.

• Check settings > Device Info > Check update for the lock regularly
  The cameras will tell you that you need an update when you connect to them.
• Some updates or settings will only work if you are on the same Wi-Fi as the device or are within bluetooth range with bluetooth turned on.

Configure:
In Wyze Lock page:
Click on the gear (Settings) icon in the upper right of the lock page to configure
Notifications: turn on for Locked, Unlocked, Opened, Closes in Notifications in the lock window. Alarms: Turn on for Door Jam and Left Open

In wyze app general settings:
Click on account bottom right of the home page: Notifications: Turn on in-app and push notifications. Click on bell icon in home page upper right and make sure push notifications are enable. Click again to toggle
Click on pencil icon top of home page and make sure there is not a rule turning notifications off.
In the iPhone main page Click on Settings > Notifications on the iPhone
scroll down to wyze and turn on allow notifications

You cannot get email or text messages:
When you click on wyze lock from the home page you will see notifications and alarms.
Click on the gear (Settings) icon in the upper right of the lock page to see Get notifications
Wyze app does not have to be running.

To to lock from home page. click settings (gear in upper right). Turn on notifications.
Go to Alarms in lock settings and turn on door jam and left open alarm.

In the wyze app go to Wyze Lock > settings in the upper right. > Auto-Unlock.
Set it to on and verify or enter the cabin address.

Enable location services on your phone and grant permissions to the Wyze app.

Location Services recognizes when youre near (within a city block of) your home after being away.
You have 10 minutes to get within bluetooth range of the lock for it to work.

Issues:

• Auto-unlock won't work on tablets
• The Wyze lock app must be running. Battery-saver settings will sometimes close apps w Auto-Unlock will not work if you remain on the Wyze Lock tab in the app. In order to ensure Auto-Unlock triggers as intended, make sure you always back out to the Home page of the Wyze app, or have a different product page pulled up.

  After arriving at your home you have 10 minutes to get with bluetooth range of the lock for it to work.

  Configuration:
  Under Construction

  Some settings can only be done at the cabin via bluetooth.
  Auto-Lock time. I set it to 30 min.
  Alarms: Door Jam (won't lock because door is not completely closed), Left Open
  Neither their documentation or support people could tell me what the defaults are.
