The McBride Cabin is located at 5255 West Lake Blvd. (Hwy 89) in Homewood (Mileage marker 65.5) just across the street from Lake Tahoe on the quiet west shore 1/2 block from the Homewood Ski Area. It is 10 min. South of Tahoe City, 22-35 min. from Squaw Valley and a little over 2 hours from Sacramento.
1:10 from the Reno Airport.

It is limited to 10 guests for renters.

Sledding - Turn right out of driveway, Turn right on South St across from the boat shop, at the end of South St where it hits Sacramento St take the trail ahead up the hill and around to the right a short distance to the sledding hill.
If there is a lot of snow the bank at the end of South St. will be 6 - 8 feet high.
