For the Widower:
Memories:
- There's nothing wrong with having a picture or some pictures around the house. If you still have young children you may give them some of the pictures to put in their room.
- It's OK to talk about your former spouse as long as it's not excessive.

Dating a Widower:
- Be respectful of their kids. There may be times when resentment boils up. Don't take it personally.
- There may be times when your partner a step back when the grief monster might have made a return visit
