Confucius (551 BC - 479 BC) was a Chinese thinker and social philosopher, whose teachings and philosophy have deeply influenced Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Taiwanese and Vietnamese thought and life. His philosophy emphasized personal and governmental morality, correctness of social relationships, justice and sincerity.

We listed these here even they are wisdom and sayings rather than parables and stories.

Confucianism is not a religion, however it includes spiritual philosophy. It is a Chinese ethical and philosophical system developed from the teachings of the Chinese philosopher Confucius. The core of Confucianism is humanism, the belief that human beings are teachable, improvable and perfectible through personal and communal endeavour especially including self-cultivation and self-creation.
No texts are demonstrably authored by Confucius, and the ideas most closely associated with him were elaborated in writings that accumulated over the 2 centuries after his death. These include Analects (Lun Lu).
