At ran across a black lives matter march following the George Floyd murder where one of the signs read "White Silence Kills". I felt guilty. Although I had spoken out against police brutality before, I never really invested in the issue.

I was looking for a good "black lives matter sign". I liked my neighbors sign.

But I have conservative friends and family members (I consider myself a moderate) and didn't want to pick sides in the culture wars, which would just shut down conversation.
Most of them are Christians and I wanted take it from principles we agree on.

I am really upset by police brutality and don't understand why people are not addressing the problem head on. You just need to get rid of the minority of bad cops and a culture which accepts their abuse, not defund police. But that's another issue.
I wanted to address the larger problem of Systemic Racism.

I had a "Love wins" bumper sticker and after Joe Bidens "unity" rhetoric in the 2020 election, thought a "Love Unites" sign would be good, but I couldn't find one online.
The Love Wins sticker came from a church The Barn in Allentown, PA.
Their "Love Wins" credo is based on God IS love, that God has created us in love, that God encourages us to love ourselves, and that God encourages us to love ALL of our neighbors.
This and the "Golden Rule "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" some form of which is in most religions.

I then heard an interview of Serene Jones, the president of Union Theological Seminary in New York City, on the on Being podcast where she talked about her 2019 book "Call It Grace: Finding Meaning in a Fractured World"

My sign idea:
Love
 Grace
 Unity

I know a sign is not enough. I'm still looking for what to do.

It turns out someone else had a similar idea.
