Those are the 4 things that every prayer should have. (ACTS)
Adoration  - Praise to God for His Glory and His Grace
Contrition - Telling God you are sorry that you have not lived up to everything
             He expects, that you can always do better
Thanksgiving - Thanks for all that He has given us. Family, Friends, Country, ....
Supplication - Asking God to be with us, to take care of those around us, and to bless us.
               (And any other prayers of need)
               

Pray then like this:
"Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
