In 2025 Century Communities bought the Chiles Ranch, 12.1 acres at 2411 East 8th St..
They are building a medium-density residential subdivision of 96 dwelling units on 12.1 acres on East 8th St.

Progress-Schedule:
April 28 - May 8, 2025 - They located utilities in street. Paved back up.
Street signs on May 9 say Construction May 10 - July 10
May 10 - May 23 - Leveling and excess dirt removal
July-Aug Utility lines, Water, Sewer, Electrical, Cable/internet, ... installed Aug. 29 - sidewalks poured.
