A 2012 Stanford study indicated there wasn't much difference in nutrition between organic and conventional foods.
However researchers have found that there a 30% lower risk of pesticide contamination and organically farmed chicken and pork had lower levels of antibiotic-resistant bacteria.
Other studies have shown higher levels of vitamin C and phenols (plant antioxidants) in organically grown crops.
