The 2025 year was good for the GA Sikes Ranch. We have caught up with the unexpected increased costs for the almond orchard maintenance. Our net “income” this year will be about $40,000 so you can plan for your share of the K1 forms when our taxes are done. I have included an abbreviated list of estimated income and expenses through the next 16 months As I have spoken to each of you, I believe we have an option of dispersing a small sum this year, but the almond income and expenses continue to be volatile.

The almonds are finally producing and I am expecting income from the nuts to cover our loan repayment starting next fall or December. I have reached out to Ag West / Farm Credit West to determine how we will be expected to structure the loan repayment. I am uncertain if we will owe a monthly amount, like a credit card or mortgage payment or if there will be an annual interest and principle payment due every December. I need to know how to hold back money to be sure we can pay bills on time.

Dustin’s bills continue to rise significantly above what was proposed to us in the original budget. I will ask that he sit down with us and explain this. I can be flexible with time and i expect Don can be as well. If Dale or Pam wants to be at this meeting in person or by phone you can negotiate a time. I will include everyone on the e-mail.

Attached is my projected income and expense for 2026.
I am unclear how we will be expected to pay back the loan and the almond income and expenses may vary as well.
