Brooke did her post-doc research on autism at the NIH and UCSF, followed by:

Tom did post-doc alzheimer's research at the Buck Institute for Age Research followed by:
- Senior Editor at the Public Library of Science (PLOS) Medicine in San Francisco
- Penumbra Inc. Alameda
