Qué hacer y qué decir cuando se enfrenta a un agente de inmigración..
Usted tiene derechos constitucionales:
- NO ABRA LA PUERTA si un agente de inmigración toca su puerta.
- NO RESPONDA NINGUNA PREGUNTA de un agente de inmigración si intenta hablar con usted. Tiene derecho a guardar silencio.
NO FIRME NADA sin hablar primero con un abogado. Tiene derecho a hablar con un abogado.
- Si está fuera de su casa, pregunte al agente si puede irse y, si le dicen que sí, váyase con calma.
- LEA O MUESTRE AL AGENTE LA DECLARACIÓN A CONTINUACIîN O LA TARJETA ROJA, SI LA TIENE. Si esté dentro de su casa, muéstrela por la ventana, péguela en está puerta o pásela por debajo de la puerta.

I do not wish to speak with you, answer your questions,
or sign or hand you any documents based on my 5th
Amendment rights under the United States Constitution.
I do not give you permission to enter my home based
on my 4th Amendment rights under the United States
Constitution unless you have a warrant to enter, signed
by a judge or magistrate with my name on it that you slide
under the door.
I do not give you permission to search any of my
belongings based on my 4th Amendment rights.
I choose to exercise my constitutional rights.
You can print and post the "To U.S. Immigration" notice on your door or get a red card with the same information (see below).
