Http layered over SSL.
Description
This is really http layered upon the secure socket layer.

The advantage of SSL over Swipe is that SSL requires no reimplementation of
your TCP/IP stack to get security.

SSL in general.
Implementations
Currently only implemented on TCP, version 3 of SSL may work on udp.
