The River to Ridge Trail Connects Kennedy Park in Napa to the Skyline Wilderness and trails that are part of the Bay Area Ridge Trail System , a continuous 550-mile multi-use loop that circles the highest and often most scenic points around San Francisco Bay.
As of 2020, 340 miles of the loop is open to the public

River To Ridge Trail

The trail goes up to 280' elevation than down into the Skyline Wilderness Park and Lake Camille..
The ridge to the East of Napa goes to 1,200' elevation.
There are too many trees in the way to get a good view of Napa.

The Skyline Wilderness Park is not so wild with road access, a RV park and other development.
